Lego halo games

Both, it would seem, were mere practice runs for this stunning Halo ring. If you have a hankering for all things Halo you may want to click the little blue link. The machine is covered in armaments, although its primary weapon appears to be the huge railgun at its shoulder. This Lego version is fully articulated; with a swiveling waist, movable arms, and an interesting gear system at the hips that allows the mech to pose its legs. With some great shaping across the build, Zio Chao has portrayed an excellent rendition of the original design.

The long prominent legs are used to stomp and stun enemies in the game so it seems fitting that they are exquisitely detailed in this model. A gear track piece runs through the middle of each leg adding an extra level of depth to the robotic aesthetic. The feet, although thin and sharp in design, provide enough surface area for the build to maintain its balance.

The legendary Falcon aircraft were first seen in the game Halo Reach. I really like the yellow lights on either side of the central intakes as well. For example, I think the white stripes on the prop tips matching the stripes on the cockpit canopy was a deliberate choice.

The angled wings on the tail are also a nice touch. It is only fitting to think about the Halo Gregorian chant as I look upon this amazing brick-built Covenant energy sword — a holy weapon wielded by the noble class of the Sangheili species, crafted by Nick Jensen. No adhesives such as tape or glue were used — talk about clutch power!

The handle is crafted out of a menagerie of bricks, tiles, dome-tops, and slopes in mostly blacks and greys with some trans-clear parts. Nick also smartly constructed a couple of stands to display this amazing work. It definitely must feel pretty empowering to hold this sword — even if it is only a model made of bricks. It looks almost exactly as I remember it from the games.

Video games are a great source of inspiration when it comes to building LEGO spaceships, especially the Halo franchise, with a wide variety of orbital, deep space, atmosphere, and ground vehicles from many space-faring species. While this might look like a digital render to some, the source for many of the unusual olive green elements is much more analog. The builder used a very careful application of spray paint to produce the needed parts for this wonderfully detailed craft, and the results speak for themselves, if you ask me.

On the more traditional side of things, I especially like the propellers, made from a lattice radar dish plus mini-fig hands and hooks.

I grew up playing lots of first-person shooter games. Even with great shooters in recent memory like Titanfall , Rainbow Six: Siege , and Overwatch , my favorite remains the Halo series. While they admit olive green blocks would have made for a more accurate build, they opted for sand green due to the cost and fewer limitations in terms of availability.

Meeny does add that they will be working on an olive green variant of the helmet, again with Bricker Builds, at some point in Fans of Meeny's work on Reddit asked whether they would be submitting the design to Lego Ideas. Fan-made sets in the past have been turned into officially licensed Lego products via the Ideas submission process in the past.

Meeny says that the loss of creative control combined with the ownership of the Halo IP making the helmet's transformation into an official Lego set unlikely makes them reluctant to take that route. Your drying pan won't protect you from the wrath of societal cancellation, Brock. Josh has been gaming for as long as he can remember. Back then, Sonic 2 quickly became his favorite game and as you might have guessed from his picture, the franchise has remained close to his heart ever since.

Nowadays, he splits his time between his PS4 and his Switch and spends far too much time playing Fortnite. If you're a fan of gaming, wrestling, and soccer, give him a follow on Twitter BristolBeadz.
